Why was our house called Ciasa de Munt – Corvara's Lifestyle Living?
Because created something that no one had yet thought of: an accommodation in Corvara, Alta Badia, with luxury, uniqueness and charm as its core; in other words: lifestyle!
Everything in our accommodation sets a trend: the elegant and sophisticated design is combined to some highlights of our Ladin traditions.
The added bonus is that we're only 200 metres from the Piz Boé gondola lift, the perfect access to the Sellaronda skitour and to several Dolomiti Superski areas, with its vast number of ski slopes.
We're surrounded by the Dolomites, a UNESCO world heritage site, that can be enjoyed even in summer, either cycling, trekking, or indulging in healthy relaxation!

HOSTS & HISTORY
In 1966 our father, Johann Baptist Dapunt, built his first home in Corvara: he called it Garni Ciasa de Munt ** .. Together with his wife Luisa, a passionate cook from Valle Aurina, they created a bed and breakfast with a familiar, homely atmosphere . At that time the house had a total of 24 rooms, all equipped with private bathroom, which was a highlight in the late 1960s, when winter tourism was brought to life in Alta Badia.
In the 1970s, Luisa and Giovanni also took over the management of the “Lago Boé” mountain hut at 2.200 meters, this way they expanded the touristic offer for their guests. The refuge was completely demolished in 2014 and rebuilt in a modern and linear style: the new Piz Boé Alpine Lounge was immediately considered, by architects and experts, as a pioneering project of "innovative-high-altitude-tourism architecture". Based on the same ideas of modernity and innovation, starting from 1996, Ciasa de Munt was refurbished several times, to meet the increasing needs of tourism in Alta Badia. The last important restyling dates back to 2017 and now we, Oliver and Patrick, can proudly present our Ciasa de Munt Lifestyle Living.

The ski slopes and the cable cars, with a direct connection to Sellaronda and some Dolomiti Superski areas, can be reached in a very short time from Ciasa de Munt Lifestyle Living. The center of Corvara is animated during the mild summer evenings by concerts, markets and exciting events! Corvara is the cradle of winter tourism, and there is a reason for it: the first ski lift in Italy was built in Corvara in 1938, it was called "Slittovia Col Alto", and later, in 1946 it became a chair lift, the first one in Italy.
